Cast concrete bird box inspired by the crumbling pillboxes found throughout the countryside and on our beaches. The box shown is specifically designed for Blue tits and further research is underway to design boxes suitable for other garden birds.

This is a prototype. The real thing will be made from "woodcrete" which is more insulating for the chicks. Hopefully Ishould have some ready for nesting for spring 2009.
